Such an amazing weekend away with the lads. We booked in for the Hunter bushcraft weekend and we got so much more than we expected. Jamie made the booking experience easy, catered to our times, clearly messaged pricing and itinerary and made the overall process stress free. Adam our host was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and made himself part of the group very quickly. We did a large range of activities covering archery, shooting, slingshot, axe throwing, fire starting and trap making. Once introduced Adam just let us use the activities as much as we wanted throughout the day at our own pace with no pressure. Very chilled vibe put everyone at ease and we had a massive amount of fun. After hearing about some of the other activities you can book with the company we will definitely be signing up for some more in the future. Very highly recommend these guys!

We came as a group of 9 as a stag do and the experience exceeded our every expectation. In Jamie, we couldn’t ask for a better host, he spent the time and effort to get to know us all personally and individually and immersed himself, it felt like he was part of the stag group from start to finish. Super knowledgeable, amazing stories and just a great lad to have around. The bushtucker trial is not for the faint hearted. Jamie stayed in a bell tent on the other side of camp and on the first night, a lot of the group didn’t sleep so he endured and was woken up by us chopping up wood in the early hours of the morning and blasting music from 4am. We expected a grumpy host in the morning but he was the complete opposite, and still cooked us a welcome full English, and set us up to shoot guns, shoots arrows and catapults, throw axes and patience to help us make some cool little traps to help survive in the wild, along with a 4 hour slog of skinning and butchering a deal in the most incredible detail. The venison was cooked to absolute perfection and we all had a brilliant time having a drink and was such a gnarly experience. There is next to no signal there so you are forced to have to actually speak to your friends and adds to the off grid experience which was really refreshing in this day and age but there was the odd hot spot where you could make some calls. Amazing experience and huge huge credit to Jamie, who makes it exponentially better.

Epic Survival Stag Do Camping Trip
Sept 2024
Just got back from a weekend of camping and survival training via the hunter package and had the best stag do with the lads. Jamie was excellent and helped us all get involved and showed us techniques for bushcraft and deer butchery. I can definitely survive a zombie apocalypse now. I highly recommend Jamie and the team if you are looking to have a great time.

Successful Stag courtesy of Wild Bushcraft Company!
Aug 2024
We just returned from a stag do (13 gents) at Wild Bushcraft Company and it was such an amazing couple of days. We really were off grid which was the whole ambition with this trip, spending most of our time around the campfire, drinking and eating food put on by the Bushcraft team. Ad and Jamie really set it up for a successful weekend and were helpful in keeping us to time and making sure we made it to our activities (paintballing and canoeing).

5 stars doesn't do it justice!!

5 stars doesn't do it justice! 10/10 on everything. Jamie in particular was brilliant. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, engaging and fun experience with a team that are willing to share all of that with you then this is the place. The setting couldn't be more idyllic! I went for a stag do as we're all interested in bushcraft skills and we're looking for a particular experience so Jamie tailored the activities for our trip and was incredibly patient throughout. Very adaptable and accommodating to all our requirements. After speaking with Jamie about what other experiences he offered I will be returning in whatever capacity I can. A true bushcraft experience for a beginner, stag party or competent person looking for extra bit of education.

Amazing stag weekend with the Wild Bush Company. Great activities including archery, axe throwing and rifle shooting. Ads and James were excellent hosts, keeping the vibe going and cooking up some lovely food.
Communication was perfect from Jamie which made organising easy and smooth. Would definitely recommend these guys for anyone looking for something a bit different to a traditional stag do.
Cheers guys.

Went on a stag weekend here a few weeks back and had an amazing time!
Archery, shooting, axe throwing, bushcraft and learning how to butcher kept us busy in the day. BBQ’s, bush-tucker trials, games and beers round the camp fire evening. The hosts were very knowledgeable, a great crack and went above and beyond to keep us entertained and our belly’s full. I would highly recommend this company!
Thanks Jamie 👊🏻

When we parked up on a farm in the middle of nowhere, I didn't know what to expect but my mates didn't let me down and the wild bushcraft company team made it an incredibly memorable experience.
I couldn't have organised a better stag do for myself, full of activities, trying new things and of course lots of drinking.
Jamie, Adam and James were great fun and couldn't do enough for us all weekend. They absolutely make that experience and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys outdoor fun.

Thankyou so very much Wild Bushcraft Company for the most amazing Stag weekend hosted by Jamie, Adam and James. Seriously great fun and adventure experienced by all. From the moment we arrived the team couldn’t do enough for us catering for all our needs. The activities, survival skills and food were outstanding which all added to make the weekend memorable for all the right reasons. If you are looking for a weekend offering something a little bit different then I highly recommend you try this.

A different kind of stag doo !!
What a great experience over a weekend. Went as part of a stag party and I was definitely humbled and actually enjoyed the way of life we was partaking in. The staff were very friendly and very knowledgeable and showing us how things were done was in a very laid back environment, left to do what we wanted, there was no you must do this at this time and must do that etc, but obviously you had to be sensible about your surroundings else it could go wrong very quickly. The food that was included in the package was great, especially the venison!! Again, thanks to the staff that looked after us, and would honestly say if your an outdoors kind of person this is definitely something you need to try!!

Excellent back to nature experience!
Absolutely brilliant weekend with Jamie and Adam who were the perfect hosts. They were both super helpful, attentive, knowledgable and fun throughout! The site is exactly what you see on the tin, very wholesome and back to nature with basic creature comforts. It was exactly what we wanted and Jamie allowed us to bring a load of props so we could setup a bar and do silent disco etc. they provided fun games, axe throwing and a little fire starting. It rained a lot but we didn’t notice due to the huge communal tent area next to the huge fire pit. We picked a package that included white water rafting and gorge walking which were amazing (different company: White Water Active) the two guys who looked after us were a great mix of professional and fun and the facilities were really well put together. Overall, the scenery was beautiful and general camp vibe was very relaxed and welcoming. I would love to go back and would recommend to anyone who is up for the challenge of getting stuck into nature. Kit: Jamie does provide an overview and kit list but I would thoroughly recommend taking a towel, camp chairs, wellies, full waterproof kit and a swimming costume if you are doing the white water rafting and gorge walking. Also make sure all of the activity location pins work on your phone before you set off or you will be late like us!

I booked Wild Bushcraft for a stag in July 23 after wanting something different than the European city destination. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough. We went for the adventurer package which included paintballing, white water rafting and go karting. All the activities were unreal. Well organised and loads of fun. Would definitely recommend. Jamie and his team from Wild Bushcraft made us feel welcome, fed us like kings (lamb bbq went down a treat) and couldn’t do enough for us over the weekend. Anyone wanting a weekend away with mates should 100% check these guys out.
Adam - Shropshire
Great alternate experience for a Stag Do. Jamie and Adam were great hosts and guides. Everything was well organised and the camping site was an excellent spot. Breakfasts and evening meals were delicious and the extra snacks provided were a nice touch. Activities were good fun and we were allowed loads of time on each. Would definitely recommend!

Unforgettable Stag Do Experience: Highly Recommend!
We had an amazing time doing the Deer in a Day for on our Stag do! The Stag had been wanting to do something like this for years, and Jamie and the crew did not disappoint. They were fantastic instructors, teaching us a great deal and sparking a newfound passion that made us want to come back for more. We had a blast throughout the day, and the icing on the cake was getting some delicious venison. We would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

The Hunter Weekend with a group of friends
We did the Hunter weekend with a group of friends. You can already tell from all the reviews that lots of people have a great time with Jamie and the Wild Bushcraft Company - I'm here to add to their ranks and confirm that this is one of the most fun weekends you'll have. We had a great time in the woods throwing axes, shooting bows, some target rifle shooting, and clay pigeons. We also learned how to butcher a deer, and cooked up some fantastic venison steaks. Accommodation are in large bell tents that fit 4. Jamie and the others maintained a great balance of showing us how the fun stuff worked, but also giving us space to chill out together. The atmosphere was always good, and they were never intrusive. I really enjoyed it and would consider doing it again.

Brothers Stag Do... done right!
I arranged with Jamie to help plan my brother's Stag Do and he couldn't have been more helpful. From start to finish, everything was planned down to a tee with no hassle. I requested awkward dates, a Wednesday to Friday gig, and they were more than happy to do this rather than a more common weekend adventure, which was amazing. We arrived to Venison steaks rolls for lunch, a cool box full of beers, bell tents and campfire, with everything setup ready to go. Archery, Axe Throwing, and Hunting Rifles....to finish with EXPLOSIVE targets! All of us guys had an amazing time, and continue to talk about it today. Wwe all said we would definitely stay in touch and do this again. 10/10 to Jamie and Ed for an amazing stag do for my bro. Cheers fellas!👍🏼

My best man managed to find this awesome activity and quite frankly exceeded any expectations I had for the weekend. The guys supporting it were cracking, funny and clearly experienced in bushcraft as well as being great teaches. The experiences varied wildly such as building a friction fire to axe throwing and preparing your own meal. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone I can!
Trip Advisor
I recently had the pleasure of attending a stag party that promised to be a wild bushcraft adventure, and let me tell you, it exceeded all expectations! From deer skinning to a thrilling bush tucker trial, this weekend was packed with exciting and hilarious moments that will be forever etched in our memories.
First and foremost, the hosts of this adventure deserve a standing ovation. They were not only knowledgeable and skilled in bushcraft techniques, but they were also incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. Their passion for the outdoors was contagious, and they made us feel comfortable and welcome right from the start.
One of the standout activities of the weekend was the deer skinning session. It might sound a bit daunting at first, but under the guidance of our hosts, we learned valuable survival skills and gained a deep respect for nature's resources. It was an exhilarating experience that pushed us out of our comfort zones while providing a fascinating insight into the art of bushcraft.
However, what truly made this stag party unforgettable was the laughter and camaraderie that permeated the entire weekend. The hosts had a great sense of humor, and their entertaining stories and jokes kept us entertained throughout. The combination of adventure and lighthearted fun made for an unforgettable experience that brought us all closer together.
I wholeheartedly recommend this activity to anyone looking for a stag party that goes beyond the typical festivities. Whether you're an outdoors enthusiast or someone who wants to try something different, this experience offers a perfect blend of excitement, education, and laughter. It's an excellent opportunity to bond with your friends, learn survival skills, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Just got back from my Son's stag weekend and it was brilliant. The hosts were amazing, really good lads who made sure everything about the event ran smoothly. Started with eating eyes, testicles and brains and ended with the most amazing venison burgers, the venison having been butchered by them that afternoon with some guided help from us. The activities are really good and once instructed we were left alone to just enjoy ourselves for the day. The guys joined in for a few drinks in the evening and overall you really couldn't wish for a better event.....and don't just do it for stags...it's a great weekend whatever the reason. We are going to regroup next year to do the deer stalking course in Hampshire and I guess that's the highest compliment we could pay.
John
Honestly… one of the greatest weekends of my life. I had no idea this would be my stag but my brother and friends pulled an absolute blinder! 10 of us had the forest to ourselves and just got to chill, shoot, throw axes and eat deer to our hearts content. We had an amazing time! The guys there - Jamie, Ad and Ed were just so good with us, and such a laugh! Couldn’t recommend this high enough to anyone wanting to plan a turbo outdoorsy stag or weekend away.
Steve
We had an amazing weekend with Ed and Ad learning traps, fire lighting, axe throwing, archery, shooting and deer butchery. Both the guys were very knowledgeable and extremely chilled which made for a great experience. The campsite was perfect, great little kitchen, decent tents and always a fire on the go. The food was amazing - especially the deer - and they even had a cool-box for the beers. The whole weekend was great, very well paced out, nothing felt too fast or too much info, and we were left to our own devices enough for people to be as involved as they wanted to be. Great communication throughout the booking process and beyond. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Amazing experience, absolutely recommend to folks from all walks of life, you won’t regret it!
Exceeded all of my expectations and had a brilliant two nights camping for a friend’s stag weekend. Learnt a lot and had a massive laugh along the way. Our hosts, Jamie and Ed, were friendly, fun and accommodating from the first to the last minute of our stay, the kind of chaps you’d be happy to have on any good stag weekend! Can’t recommend the experience enough, worth every penny, and more! Already trying to think of excuses to go back.

I cant recommend this place enough
I recently came back from a stag party here and WOW. We arrived Friday night to be greeted by Jamie and Ed and shown to the camp. There we were treated to a fire lighting course and dinner cooked on the coals. Veggie? No problem. Gluten-free, also catered for. The next day saw us awoken with a cooked breakfast and some knife skills before axe throwing, archery and shooting. We got shown the basics and then got to pick what we wanted to do. After lunch, we were given a lesson in prepping a deer and the meat we collected was then marinade and cooked for us for dinner. Although I didn't eat it because I was the veggie in the group, I was still treated to a delicious meal and did not feel left out. The stag party all said it was the best thing they had ever eaten (the venison). That evening we sat around the fire, did stag party shenanigans and had the best time. Sunday was breakfast before departing for some local paintballing. The team here are what makes this experience so amazing. Ed who looked after us was a top bloke. The team (Jamie, Pete and Ad) were also amazing and joined us around the fire and for a few forest beers/whiskeys in the evening. The tents are huge and sleep four very easily. The bathroom facilities come with their own view and the weekend was amazing. We were genuinely all really sad to be leaving. Top blokes, top experience and top adventure.
Massive thanks to Jamie, Ed, Pete and Adam for an amazing weekend. All the activities went down a storm - fire lighting, trapping, butchery, axes, rifles, bows. The camp was the perfect set up and we felt very well looked after throughout. They were all very knowledgeable and a great laugh (getting involved in our games, jokes, etc). The food was also out of this world good, particularly the venison. If you are looking for something a bit different for a stag do, our whole group (from all walks of life) would highly recommend these guys. Action packed fun with great hosts and we got to spend time having a laugh around a campfire together vs yet again getting lost in a random club.
Rory - London
Jamie and Adam were bloody class. Absolute legends from start to finish providing first class service (and drinking) for the entirety of the stag. The lads made us feel at home, let us get on with activities including shooting, archery and axe throwing and made various challenges throughout the event. I could not recommend these guys enough - if I get divorced and need to find a new wife I’ll use them for my next stag do (best man - Dan)

We recently visited for a stag do and had an epic weekend. Jamie & his team are great hosts & couldn't have been better, their attention to detail & willingness to help with everything was evident from the moment we arrived. They are passionate at what they do and have created the perfect balance of providing fun times with instruction of bushcraft knowledge and skills. All activities are undertaken with a relaxed approach and we could take these at our own leisure. Axe throwing/ rifles/ bows and arrows/ butchery... many things to try your hand at, or just sit off and enjoy some beers round the pool table, no pressure. Great food, great hosts, great set up. 1 of the best weekends I've had.
Steve - Leeds
Absolutely blinding stag weekend in an amazing setting
Jamie, Ed and the guys were brilliant hosts and even though I'm sure they must've done this hundreds of times it always had a fresh and easy going feel to it. The food was incredible and even the ritual stag humiliation was fairly mild - I'd happily do it all over again 😊

Couldn’t have asked for a better stag do
Little belated this review but here goes. I didn’t want your typical stag do and this certainly wasn’t, brilliant activities, great location, fantastic food, no stress, all fun. The guys were brilliant, doing anything and everything they could to make our weekend better. I think I can confidently say every single one of our party had a weekend they will never forget and walked away happy. Would come again in a heartbeat.
Gareth - London
From the moment I spoke to Jamie on the phone to getting back in my car after the weekend it was awesome. Jamie was so helpful in be-spoking the place for the stag do. The guys (Ads and Ed, as well as Jamie) were epic over the weekend, from showing us the ropes to joining in and making the experience relaxed, educational but fun - even joined in with the games we planned - suckling pig, axe throwing, archery, knife skills, food, drink, laughs the lot.
Don't even think about it, speak to them and book it - you'll not be disappointed.
Thank you guys, love Peggy Sue.

Stop searching and just pick this lot
There aren't many stag dos you come home from wanting to do it all again immediately but I can safely say that I would love to spend another weekend in the woods with these guys and may well do for my own stag. This is hands down the best stag I have been on and can wholeheartedly recommend that any other best men out there just go ahead and go for this.
From start to end the organization and handling was superb. Jamie made life exceptionally easy despite us having guests arriving at staggered times, numerous vegetarians, an addition to the bushtucker trial (suggested by Jamie!), etc. Adam and Ed running things in the woods were the perfect hosts, they immediately made us feel welcome and perfectly walked the line between joining in, looking after us, and giving us space to just get on with our own antics.
The activities were all brilliant and nothing like how they have been run on any other event I have been on, They gave us safety briefings, a bit of coaching, then left us to axe throw/shoot/archery for as much or as little as we wanted, occasionally dropping back in to whoop us at a game of 21 (great game thanks guys).
The food was next level and the skill and expertise with which everything was prepared was genuinely amazing. I accidentally fell off the vege wagon this weekend pretty hard due to how amazing everything was.
Top guys, great food, excellent location, brilliant activities, save yourself a bunch of effort going to some cookie-cutter stag in <name city here> and give these guys a ring. You won't regret it. I now understand how there are so many five star reviews!
Thanks guys
Dan - London
Fantastic hosts and a great camp, 10/10 would get married a second time for an excuse to come back and have another stag party. The food was some of the best I have had in ages and some of it probably also the weirdest. Ed does a particularly good impression of a pigeon.
Mike - London
Without a doubt the best stag experience I've had. Ed, Ad, Charles and Jamie made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were clearly very knowledgeable about the bushcraft, knives, axes and rifles, and really enthusiastic about ensuring that we had the best possible time. They often joined in the fun and were always on hand to offer helpful tips.
It's the first time I've done activities like this (axes, rifles, archery) where it isn't regimented but instead is a much more relaxed experience after getting the safety briefings for each one, not to mention having the opportunity to then do each activity as much as we wanted and at our own paces.
The food was exquisite and the preparation of the deer was fascinating. The bush tucker trial was a blast and a (mostly) pleasant surprise too.
Would recommend to anyone! Cheers for a cracking weekend!
Dan - Leeds
Came here for a stag weekend, and had a great time.
Adam, Jamie, Charles and 'Inappropriate Ed' are a great set of guys and make great hosts. They clearly love what they do, and it comes across.
So many places do similar activities, that it's the people that have to stand out, and they do. That being said, we'd never butchered our own meat for tea before.
Food throughout the weekend was really well cooked.
It's also a great location. Making far too much noise at 4am, but no one to disturb.
Would highly recommend it.
Nursey - Leeds
We came here for a stag weekend and everyone had a fantastic time. Pete and Ed were great hosts and made sure we had what we needed. They were both very knowledgeable. The bushcraft skills and activities were great and we could do them at own pace as it was all very relaxed. The site was the perfect location for a stag weekend. No chance of disturbing anyone if being loud till late in the night. The food was fantastic all weekend and helping with the preparation of the deer was a great experience. Would fully recommend!
Geoff - Liverpool
I was asked to organise a Stag party for my friend who loves the outdoors. Jamie / Ian and the team did a fantastic job of accommodating the group during difficult times.
Having our own private area was perfect and made the weekend all the more pleasant. The facilities were spot on and there was plenty to do over the weekend. I would highly recommend the experience. The inclusion of a "bush tucker trial" was great and certainly caught a few of guard. Great work guys.
